Please be aware the door can be tough to close- pull hard to ensure it's completely shut. The deadbolt of the lock is just like a normal home lock- turn the deadbolt while you're in the panty to lock the door. The lock will autolock after 10 mins, if this happens while you're shopping, simply turn and unlock to open the door.
